JV: Fitzgerald walkoff helps JV hold off Penn Manor JV rally 13-12
Manheim Township Junior Varsity finally got the chance to take the field after nearly a two week delay due to poor weather. In a back and forth game, Township JV was victorious thanks to the heroics of Colin Fitzgerald and his walkoff single in the bottom of the 7th inning.

The Blue Streaks opened up an early lead thanks to a Josh Emge triple that scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning. Evan Clark, Sam Emge, Kyle Musser, and Fitzgerald all added big hits for Township JV that brought in 11 more runs throughout the afternoon.
Jake Schaefer got the start for Township JV and went four innings, allowing 7 runs on 8 hits and striking out 5 Penn Manor batters. Ryan Jones ended up with the win after relieving Clark in the 7th inning.
