After a lead off walk, the next three Central York batters were retired in the 1st inning. Kyle Musser, Ryan Jones, and Colin Yablonski all reached base in the 1st on a walk, single, and walk, but none of the runners were able to cross the plate. The Panthers only singled and picked up a walk in the 2nd before striking for a couple of runs in the 3rd. A bases-loaded walk pushed the first runner across the plate and a SAC fly made it 2-0 Central York.

The Blue Streaks, as they have done all season, bounced back in their half of the 3rd inning to claim a small lead. Three consecutive singles from Ben DeMarco, Musser, and Jones set Yablonski up for an RBI walk. Evan Clark, in his first start for varsity, followed Yablonski with an RBI walk of his own. Will Greiner hit a SAC fly to center field to make it 3-2 Township before the half inning ended.

Central York loaded the bases on Vucovich in the 4th inning, but failed to alter the score. Township's lead grew in the bottom of the 4th after Drew Sassaman and DeMarco reached base safely before scoring on a fly ball error in center field. Vucovich controlled the Panthers in his final inning on the mound to hand the game over to Clark in the top of the 6th with a 5-2 lead.

Clark pitched a scoreless 6th and 7th inning while the Blue Streaks tacked on one more run in the bottom of the 6th on a fielder's choice off the bat of Yablonski. Musser scored on the play to set the final score at 6-2 MT. With the win, Vucovich now has 3 wins on the season. Township has now won 11 straight games and stands at 11-2 on the season.

Next Game: Lampeter-Strasburg will travel to Manheim Township on Monday for the first of four games next week for the Blue Streaks. Game time: 4:15pm.
