Coming off a 3-2 victory over the Warwick Warriors on Friday afternoon, the #5 Blue Streaks head to Ephrata this evening (5/28 - 6:30pm) to take on the #1 ranked Hempfield Black Knights in the PIAA District III 6A semifinals. This is the 3rd meeting between these two teams this season. Find the previous game results below:
March 29th: The Black Knights visited Westfield Insurance Park late in March and secured a 9-0 victory over the Blue Streaks. Following the loss, Township rattled off 11 straight victories to rebound in a big way to keep their season alive.
April 30th: Leading 6-1 heading into the bottom of the 7th inning on the road at Hempfield, the Blue Streaks surrendered 6 runs to the Black Knights and dropped their second meeting of the season 7-6.
