MT Summer team wraps up LNP Tournament with a silver finish in Championship game

After two months of regular season games, the Manheim Township Blue Streaks Summer team wrapped up their season in the Lancaster Newspaper Tournament Championship against their direct rivals to the North, the Lititz Oddfellows (Warwick). After splitting their regular season series, these two teams met one more time as the number 1 and 2 seeds at Clipper Magazine Stadium under the lights on August 2nd.

Unfortunately for the Blue Streaks, the Lititz Oddfellows came out on top of their final meeting with a 9-8 victory. The Blue Streaks' 16-3 record for the Summer is their best result since returning to Summer league play last year and the future looks bright for this young team as they begin preparing for the Spring 2020 season.
