Jack Kenneff A Difficult Out As Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks Defeat Warwick Varsity Warriors

Jack Kenneff collected three hits in five at bats, as Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks defeated Warwick Varsity Warriors 10-3 on Wednesday. Kenneff hit a home run to left field in the fourth inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and singled in the third inning.

A sacrifice fly by Josiah Smucker put Warwick Varsity Warriors on the board in the bottom of the first.

Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks captured the lead, 2-1, in the top of the third after Alex Derderian doubled down the right field line, and Lincoln Stoltzfus singled to right field, each scoring one run.

Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks scored five runs on four hits in the top of the fourth inning. Derderian singled, scoring two runs, and Kenneff homered to left field, scoring three runs.

Tyler Shirk tossed two innings of shutout ball for Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks in relief. The right-handed pitcher surrendered one hit, striking out six and walking none.
