Warwick Varsity Warriors opened the scoring in the third after Logan Munoz doubled, scoring one run.
Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks made the score 4-1 in the bottom of the third after Alex Derderian grounded out, scoring one run, Nick Shay induced Jack Kenneff to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored, and Landon Crane singled, scoring two runs.
Warwick Varsity Warriors flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring seven runs on six hits to take the lead, 8-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Munoz that drove in two.
Shay earned the win for Warwick Varsity Warriors. The pitcher surrendered five hits and five runs (four earned) over four innings, striking out none and walking two. Nolan Peters took the loss for Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks. The lefty went three innings, giving up seven runs on seven hits, striking out five and walking one. Joey Diffenderfer earned the save.
Crane led Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day.
