Manheim Township JV took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st thanks to a Sam Emge hit that scored Drew Sassaman. From that point forward, the JV Blue Streaks struggled to put more runs on the board and fell behind Cumberland Valley JV as the Eagles put up 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st and 4 additional runs in the bottom of the 3rd. Luke Wenger, Dylan King, and Ryan Jonespitched a total of 6 innings and combined for 8 strikeouts for the Blue Streaks in the loss. Even though they didn’t score many runs, S. Emge and Evan Clark each had multiple hits on the day and Caden Brubaker added a single in his only at bat. The JV Streaks fell 6-1 for their first loss of the season.
