On an overcast afternoon in Elizabethtown, Township JV looked to recover after a difficult loss at Manheim Central on Saturday afternoon. The offense got things going in the top of the 1st inning with a lead off double by Michael Heckman who later scored on Evan Clark's single with 1 out.

Taking a 1-0 lead to the mound, Ben Shenosky walked the first batter he faced before setting down the next 15 E-town batters with a combination of ground outs, fly outs, and strikeouts (6 K's on the day). E-town held the Blue Streaks in check until they broke free for another run in the top of the 4th inning. Fisher Druck singled with no outs before being replaced on the bases on an error in Max Proulx's AB. JT Weaver reached base on an error on a fly ball that also allowed Proulx to score and make it 2-0 MT through 4 innings.

With one out in the 5th, Ryan Flury reached base on an error before Dylan King singled and Druck doubled to drive home two more runs. Proulx followed with a single and Shenosky helped himself by driving home JV's 5th run of the afternoon. Township added their final run of the day in the 7th after a Clark walk and Druck SAC fly.

Caden Brubaker came in to replace Shenosky on the mound in the 6th inning and kept E-town bats quiet through the final two innings. JV's 6-0 win improves their record to 7-1 on the season.
