They added to their lead in 2nd inning when JT Weaver walked and scored on a Michael Heckman single to left field. Township jumped back on top in their half of the 3rd after a ground ball from Fisher Druck allowed King and Clark to score on an error. Two batters later, Ben Shenosky doubled to bring Druck home from 3rd and extend the MT lead to 5-3. Heckman singled again to make it 6-3 as Max Proulx crossed the plate. CV tacked on another run in the 4th to keep it close at 6-4.
The JV Blue Streaks blew the score open in the bottom of the 4th with a Proulx single, Shenosky triple, and Heckman double. CV snagged three runs in the top of the 7th before they were retired and Township picked up the 11-7 victory.
