Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks could not keep pace with Mechanicsburg Varsity Wildcats 7-4 on Friday.

Mechanicsburg Varsity Wildcats got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Grady Weaver singled, scoring one run, Jager Nailor homered to right field, scoring two runs, and Jayson Hellam singled, scoring two runs.

Mechanicsburg Varsity Wildcats added one run in the second. Nick Patrick doubled to center field, making the score 6-0.

Mechanicsburg Varsity Wildcats added one run in the third. Jayden Matarrese grounded out, making the score 7-1.

Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks scored two runs in the top of the sixth on a home run to right field by Alex Miller on a full count.

James Markowitz earned the win for Mechanicsburg Varsity Wildcats. The pitcher gave up four hits and two runs (one earned) over five innings, striking out six and walking none.
