Lincoln Stoltzfus drove in four runs on three hits to lead Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks past Cedar Crest Varsity Falcon 12-9 on Wednesday. Stoltzfus tripled in the seventh inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the fourth inning, scoring one.

Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two walks. Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks first got on the board when Landon Crane drew a walk, scoring one run.

Cedar Crest Varsity Falcon jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Mason Cevette hit a sacrifice fly, Skyler Sherman grounded out, and Brayden Dorshimer singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Cedar Crest Varsity Falcon scored one run in the bottom of the third on a solo home run to center field by Lucas Schreier.

Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks jumped into the lead in the top of the fourth when Jacob Carrasco drew a walk, scoring one run, Mason Copenhaver induced Jack Kenneff to hit into a fielder’s choice, but two runs scored, and Stoltzfus singled, scoring one run.

Cedar Crest Varsity Falcon took the lead, 9-8, in the bottom of the sixth thanks to singles by Cevette, and Chase Ruhl.

Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks took the lead, 12-9, in the top of the seventh thanks to triples by Stoltzfus, and JJ Good.

Kenneff earned the win for Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks. The hurler surrendered one hit and zero runs over one and one-third innings, striking out two and walking none. Good pitched three and one-third innings in relief for Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks. The hurler gave up four hits and five runs (three earned) while, striking out four and walking three. Landon Yeingst took the loss for Cedar Crest Varsity Falcon. The hurler went one inning, allowing four runs on three hits, striking out one and walking two. Brogen Sauder started on the bump for Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks. The righty gave up five hits and four runs over two and one-third innings, striking out two and walking one. Davin Kolter opened the game for Cedar Crest Varsity Falcon. The starter allowed two hits and six runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out five and walking six.

Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks collected 10 hits in the game. Carrasco collected two hits for Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks in four at bats. Dio Acosta paced Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting nine walks for the game.

Cedar Crest Varsity Falcon accumulated 10 hits in the game. Isaac Kreider, Ruhl, and Chase Norris each collected two hits for Cedar Crest Varsity Falcon. Cevette led Cedar Crest Varsity Falcon with five runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Cedar Crest Varsity Falcon turned one double play in the game.

Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks will travel to Hershey for their next game on Friday.
