Bats were blistered as Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks outshone Northeastern Varsity Baseball 15-11 on Monday. Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks collected 15 hits, while Northeastern Varsity Baseball had 13.

Northeastern Varsity Baseball opened the scoring in the first after Brayden Ford singled, scoring one run.

Lincoln Stoltzfus grounded into a fielder’s choice, which helped Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Jacob Carrasco hit a sacrifice fly, Northeastern Varsity Baseball committed an error, and Northeastern Varsity Baseball committed an error, each scoring one run.

Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the third inning. Sebastian Llessi drew a walk, scoring one run, Carrasco drew a walk, scoring one run, Alex Derderian singled, scoring two runs, and Jack Kenneff hit into a double play, but one run scored.

Northeastern Varsity Baseball scored six runs on five hits in the top of the fifth inning. Ford singled, scoring one run, Brayden Beagle singled, scoring one run, Trey Himes drew a walk, scoring one run, and Ryan Wilson singled, scoring three runs.

Brogen Sauder earned the win for Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks. The hurler allowed 10 hits and nine runs (seven earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking three. Lennon Hammaker took the loss for Northeastern Varsity Baseball. The pitcher went one and one-third innings, allowing four runs (two earned) on two hits, striking out none and walking two. Kenneff and JJ Good each appeared in relief for Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks.

Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks amassed 15 hits in the game. Carrasco led Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks with three runs batted in. The catcher went 1-for-3 on the day. Good led Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks with three hits in five at bats. Derderian, Brett Kirchoff, Stoltzfus, and Grant Wilson each collected multiple hits for Manheim Township Varsity Blue Streaks.

Northeastern Varsity Baseball amassed 13 hits in the game. Leadoff hitter Wilson led Northeastern Varsity Baseball with three hits in five at bats. Cohen Reisinger, Brandt Johnson, and Ford each collected multiple hits for Northeastern Varsity Baseball. Northeastern Varsity Baseball turned one double play in the game.
