Manheim Township captures 1st annual Keystone Travel Cup

With the cancellation of the 2020 Spring high school baseball season, the Manheim Township baseball program was looking for any opportunity to get together and play as a team this Summer. Organized by Varsity Coach Matt Kirchoff, MT traveled across PA for Father’s Day weekend to play in the 1st annual Keystone Travel Cup in Dubois, PA.

Competing against four other Pennsylvania high school teams, Township won all three of their games starting with a 13-1 victory over Dubois Snedden on Friday evening. MT rolled over the Northeast Twins in their second match of the weekend to then set up a rematch with the Twins in the championship game on Sunday. With their 2nd victory over the Twins in as many days, Township returned home on Father’s Day with some new hardware and a lot of smiles.

Thank you for all the families that spent the weekend supporting the team as they made the most of what 2020 has brought to our organization. We look forward to seeing you all out at the field in Spring 2021!
